Our March meeting will be March 19th, with John Higgins as the speaker; our program will be on Construction safety. His topic will be "Building a safe worksite – Planning your work and working your plan". John has over 18 years of safety and environmental experience in oil, gas, power, and petrochemical industries. He is committed to protect, and enhance the lives of workers and the community; and to bring about a renewed commitment to safety and health in the construction industry. He is currently the Environmental Health & Safety Director for Saulsbury Industries (Saulsbury Electric, Saulcon, and Saulsbury Engineering). During his employment he has worked closely with the Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA), signing the first “Partnership” with a private business in the Permian Basin. John is also certified by the National Center for Construction Education and Research as a Construction Site Safety Master.
The meeting will be held at the Eleganté Hotel with the buffet line opens at 11:40, and the meeting will start at 12 noon. The cost of the meal is $15.
